Glad I'm not the only one who finds the gore rather unnerving. I found a bit of a workaround for this: go to your options and minimize the 'ragdoll slider', which effectively causes any ragdoll (body) to disappear once it's, well, dead. Not an ideal fix, I know.

I dont understand how there could be too much gore in game such as this. This is to be expected. If there were a fencing game that had the immersion that chivalry brings, would you rather play that? So that you know for sure your opponent doesn't spout blood from his or her body.

On an end note: As soon as I finished the above train of thought, I came to realize, I love gore and I love a good pool of blood on the ground and a decapitation of a body to match. So I guess I understand why some may not want as much of it because its icky or nasty.

To be fair to myself though, I think games like this need to add the necessary blood and gore. Especially with all the young kids that are playing games now a days. If a little youngin was to play a game like this with neglectful parents not guiding his or her path. They could grow up ignorant and thinking what they do in the game they can do in real life with no consequences or knowledge of what actually happens to the human body, who knows they could grow up to be the next "insert bad serial killer man bear pig name". Say they find themselves a sharp object and start practicing on the kid next door. As soon as they plunge the "sharp object" into that kid next door and they see the blood. They could think a few different things at that time, one being "wow i done ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, i know instantly this is wrong", or "Hey, thats interesting he's bleeding. They don't bleed in the game. I like blood. I'm gonna go get more."

Obviously this would be one extremely rare case, or just a child hood dream.

I'm not quite sure how you believe it doesn't make any sense, and did you not notice at the very end of the post I put, "Obviously this would be one extremely rare case..." just to reassure.

I am just putting it out there that it could happen, things have happened in this world from far less, and you would be sugar coating your whole life with lies if you didn't think it was possible, if not probable, and surely exists in today.
