If Valve, or any other company will ping us about any workshop items violating intellectual rights, (or if it goes against the Steam Terms of Use), we will have to take it down ASAP.

People will likely have to use other websites, such as Facerig.us or their own websites for paid assets.
Until recently that was only available for Valve titles ( Dota2, Team Fortress 2 and CS:GO), and only recently has expanded to a handful of other titles. ( Dungeon Defenders: Eternity and Torn Banner Studios' Chivalry: Medieval Warfare )
Valve has announced that it plans to roll out support for other games in the coming weeks and months, but did not specify which ones, and when.
We do not plan at this time to open and curate a parallel marketplace (we'd rather focus on improving the program, and simplifying the process for building custom content :) ) .
