When you right click on a folder on mac and select compress, it creates a directory inside the root of the zip file first with the name of the directory and then puts the files inside that directory.
Instead, you should go into the directory. Then select all the files in the directory, right-click, and select compress. It will create a zip file called Archive.zip. Rename it to what you need.
