Can anyone make a sword based on an Irish Mythological weapon?
Claíomh Solais, or "Sword of Light" one of the most legendary swords in Irish History, used by a king Nuada, which whom is a god. Though later he was brought down from kingship, because his arm was chopped off, though another god healed and gave him a new arm, then he went to go fight the Formonians and died. The Sword of Light is one of the four treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann. It was also said no one could escape once it was drawn out, and no man can resist it. Though this may be true, you can still kill the wielder. So if someone can make it, that'd be coolio. Literitly a glowing sword of light, if you want you can make it a goidelic sword.

After reading a bit more about the sword itself it seems like it would make a great "official" weapon skin, I'd buy it even tho i don't even tend to use 1-handed weapons that much. What I also find interesting about this tiny sword is that it supposedly slays giants, since to use such a weapon effectively you need to use your wits. The way I imagine this sword to look like is that it would be quite plain, yet distinct, and have a faint glow to it. Most people just whine about trivial things like game balance, rather then come with ideas that may contribute something to the game. And sure, it might be more of a request, but the idea behind goes deep, which is something I like, depth.

Maybe we'll never see it implanted in-game, but at the very least it made me think. Also from my surfacy impressions so far the stories connected to it seem to tell the stories of Ireland in some ways, it feels as if I had a glimpse at what it is the Irish are proud of them selfs about, I wonder what I will find if I compare these abstract stories to Irish history, and in a way, I would challenge you if weren't doing that already. But anyways, thx for posting something interesting, it's threads like this that deserve to be commented and thought upon imo, rather then those pointless 2-sided discussions that never get anywhere.

EDIT: You might want to post or link this on the official forums as well, and as for me, I'll definitely start reading a bit more into Irish folklore, dunno why but now besides Scotland Ireland interests me as well.
ANOTHER EDIT: Maybe besides the faint glow it should be really reflective, in any way, I think the effect should be more of a subtle one. maybe it's just because I can't imagine an ultra bright sword in-game, but idk, the sword itself is really starting to interest me.
