I have been searching around for a while and cannot find exactly what I am looking for, most likely because it does not exist. But I was curious if anyone knows of a mod that adds a feature to like quick swap between multiple characters. Something like in State of Decay, like you play as one character until they get tired, then you can come back to base and swap characters to a fresh one. Personally that was an awesome feature I liked in State of Decay and wish it was in more games anyways.

I know you can swap characters on solo games by quitting and changing to a different one/make a new one. But I would vastly prefer a handing off the baton kind of feature in game and I think it would be cool to have the other character(s) hang around your base. Plus I think this could make playing in multiplayer with sleep a way more viable option. I know there are ways to sleep in MP servers and mods that make it less burdensome, but in my mind this would eliminate server bedtimes and player downtime so you can always kind of have something to do. Also I could see this being useful if you wanted to assign your character to like read a skill book while you were gone or something so you are not IRL bored while your MP character reads in real time.

I am not a modder nor am I here to beg for someone to make this or anything. Personally I just think this would be cool and I am wondering if anyone knows of anything like this. I am sure I am not literally the only one that would enjoy this kind of mechanic.
