GAME STARTS AS IF A NEW GAME

Been playing for hundreds of hours and suddenly the game starts as if new. I re installed it 3 times but does not change

Do you mean ti does not load your save files? By default, those are located in your:
Documents > My Games > Skyrim Special Edition

Possibilities that come to mind.

Someone or something deleted those files.
=> Not much to do here, if they are not in your Recycle Bin. Find out who or what did the misdeed and tell them not to do that again.
OneDrive went active and decided that "All Your Files Belong To Ts."
=> Your files might be in OneDrive. Shut down and move files back to proper location.
You have Steam cloud active for Skyrim, it got full and went bonkers.
=> If cloud did not spit files back, there is not much we can do. Close the cloud and restart the game.
Something or someone set that files in that location to "Read Only" mode.
=> Right click My Games folder and select "Properties." Remove "Read Only" option. Make sure that game and save folders are not still set as RO from their properties.
