They do have darker skin tone option, but it is more like medium brown than anything. It is the skin tone slider on the editor. Scorchlanders on the other hand have true charcoal black skin. Neither of the races were meant to represent black people. Mostly because this game has slaves and stuff and it would have been very frowned upon.
