Is there ship decay in the game
If not someone should make a mod for when a ship sinks it decays and turns brown and slowly disappears
I think if you should be able toggle the time it takes to decompose.
I would code this if i knew how but it would be cool

As far as I know ship decay does not exist however there could be mods for this.

I think if you don't put a 'keep active' block in it and then get far enough away it will despawn. I think.
