Local mods don't show up in the modifications list
Can someone please explain how to get a mod to show up in the modifications list if it's local and not from workshop?

I have just seen that this has never been answered: I see my local mods in the game. The mods are in sub-folders of the "mods" folder. In each of them there is a mod.json file with the structure

{ "displayName": "Mod-Name", "version": "x.x.x.x", "bundles": [ ] }

I guess you have seen that there is also a short modding manual in the "Manuals" folder.

go here to scan the guide on how to setup a mod to be recognised ingame, maybe watch the video
just ignore the upload to steam part, the other info will answer your question though
