mods and achievments

So, been a long while since I played, and I saw I can now get achievements with normal play, which is nice for me with my problematic hand function.

Also saw the mods still block them, but only some mods? Is there an easy way to tell if a mod will block them or not? Looking to add a few species appearance mods, and one that let's me keep my species look when going synth Ascension.

portraits/non gameplay mods, don't block acheivements. so, as long as your mods only touch on visual stuff, it should be fine, also, iirc, there's a tag and generally, in the mod description they generally tell you if it's acheivement compatible.
