Am i using the assembly kit wrong?
Should i reset the DAVE database everytime a mod is made into a pack file? I bought the game and want to mod soon but im learning on the older games and this is what happened to me oops!!!

I created a few mods in DAVE and packed each one. I never reset the dave database inbetween modding and the changes were in differnt branches like startpos and diplomacy and battle entity unit mass. Dave keeps all the changes which is cool so my database has changes from all my mods.

Now i realized in the latest pack file i made every mod i did is included in the latest pack file. It seems none of the files separated i was under the impression when i clicked with holding ctrl the branch i edited ONLY go into a mod pack. That way each sub change can be adjusted. Now i just have one mega mod.

I dont want to repeat this mistake or is it the shogun assembly tools bugged? Thankyou or is it proper practice to separate mods to reset Dave?
