I personally just use one to rule them all:

There are submods, but Orbis should include them as well.
(HD environment, HD campaign + lightning)
Not sure about, but it incorporates a flora retexture as well:

Less is often more!
The edited submods were just a recommendation, but went thru the Orbis description and it should not be needed.
(given the subscriptions, it's safe to say you really only need one mod)
Haven't checked the explicit changes, as I really don't want to compare them *.dds files :)
So having both is pretty much pointless: Last come - first to serve as the other mod's changes will be overwritten.
And the author of Orbis is still active. Give it a try, can only recommend.
edit: Orbis even uses a more delicate approach, as it includes reworked alpha/transparency-files and other cool stuff)
- Campaign lighting incorporating Rome II: Campaign HD
- Updated and retextured flora which syncs with the new battle map lighting.
- New city textures for battles which sync with the new battle lighting.
- BETA FEATURE: All current Rain, Fog, Night, Storm environments are Pre- Emperor Edition Lighting.
- BETA FEATURE: Med. Desert, and Eastern Desert Environments share same battle lighting, this will change in the future.
- BETA FEATURE: Campaign lighting for Summer is updated from Campaign HD, Spring, Autumn, and Winter will be updated at a later date.
<- that's pretty much the submods I posted earlier and it's from the same author anyway.
