Mod request: Consumable torches
I was thinking it would be cool to have the torches slowly run out while being used, i've had the same one all playthrough.

This could be done through the existing 'condition' stat
Totally agree. At first I always kept a backup torch before I realized it wasn't being consumed.

Also, I'd really like alternative light sources - lamps, lanterns, candles, candleabras, etc. At least a couple of different lamps are used by NPCs so those shouldn't be too difficult to implement for modders, no?

I love this idea! Imagine having your only torch burn out deep underground because you forgot to check it's level! I actually thought that's how they worked in the original game. They've always had condition percentages, but it means nothing.

Do torches have condition? If so, you'll need to find another parameter that determines damage per second, like shoes take damage per meter traveled. If not, there might be a way to simulate it using a buff parameter. How to attach it to a torch? I dunno.

Yes, I've seen torches at all sorts of condition percentages and scratch my head at how they got that way. As far as I know, the only item that doesn't have a condition percentage is Groschen.

Consumable torches sounds like a good idea that would give the game a more realistic touch.

Perhaps the torches could also be modded to be repairable by consuming bandages (cloths) and lard or honey (beeswax).
