Or, say, a container that gives a special tag to whatever it contains, and which also constantly increases the condition of any nearby item that has this special tag.
So it's like whatever you put in it gets marked for constant self-repair.
Ideally I'd have asked the guy who did the weapon editor XML for something like this but supposedly somebody's already working on something like that ?
Long ago I used to have built a submarine that had infinite pulse laser that used an unbreakable fuel rod loaded into it (so it was shooting engineer's Nuclear Gun projectiles). Sub Editor itself is a very powerful tool in that matter - but if you need to change the property of an item during the actual game, you're gonna need StatusEffects provided mostly via mods.
Oh don't start with that "balance" crap, its not like this is going to be used in PvP anyhow
