Is there a mod or script for Rover AI?

I want to create a tiny rover drone that will follow me around and be my cargo mule. I thought I could use the vanilla AI blocks, a forwards and backwards thruster, and leave the wheels un-parked and set to low friction to slide around, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there any method, mod, or script to make this possible?

"Doesn't seem to work" is vague. I suggest putting a gyroscope on it. There have been a lot of discussions where players are using AI blocks on wheeled rovers and AI blocks are not meant to be used on wheeled rovers.

Could try taking apart one the ones in the workshop like this one:

Not the best video, but I was able to recreate this. It's not ideal and limits some things I wanted to do with it, but it works. I really wish there was just an AI block for this.

I've done some testing with flying AI drones, but I was hoping to recreate it on a rover drone. I used 2 gyros, and it does face my direction, but seems to only slowly reverse away from me. I can share a workshop blueprint if that helps.

The Devs made the AI blocks for ships (AI Flight) but it's cool to see a player finding solutions on setups that are not supposed to work.

A thing I know about this game, there is always one Clever player finding the impossible before others, sometimes doable in Vanilla and sometimes with a Script or Mod.
