Take some similar items in the workshop apart and learn from them. Make your shape, things don't fall in the editor, go about supporting all the parts that make the shape, everything must be connected back to the seated/unseated control position. Build, spawn, refine, spawn, refine, spawn, repeat until you like what you see.
