As for the alarm for ice spire you could use the previously calculated direction/position of the sub and wall detectors to estimate whether there'll be a collision with a wall(ice spire).
This is just me rambling a few raw calculations over estimations but this is bound to at most ambiguously work, so take it as a hint. I hope it'll help.
thank you very much, im reallz glad you took it upon zou to think about this and write an answer.
i do realize now that im logically not capable enough to translate this into ingame-logic-parts.
the part with the wall detection is a hint i can understand and use, thank you good sir :D
Otherwise this whole idea seems pretty optional, if you truly aim on spending more time on task unrelated to navigation how about reducing the overall size of the submarine in question as a first step toward that goal? How about designing every room to be accessible from the command/navigation room?
my goal was to be piloted by the AI all the while i could be an mechanic or engineer or medic and experience life on europa outside the navigation room.
but i take your suggestion seriously and aim now to build me a sub which is super connected but also big enough to survive the endgame. thank you again ;)
