Need map editor help WRT placing water.

I generated some maps with maps4cim2 that have missing lakes, rivers, and streams. As in no water present at all. I know the light green areas are supposed to be water, how do I put the water there?

Go to terrain editing tools and use the lower terrain tool that has a mountain and a down arrow. Then set the Target slider to any value less than the default 0.00 and you'll find water appearing wherever you paint your brush. Buy snorkel.
