Troll mods
I have just started using mods for Shadowrun Returns and found to my delight that when i used the "portraits and profiles" mod, it wiped over one of my character saves with a low stat character. However, on the page it looks legit with a 4/5 rating and positive comments.

How many of these mods are just troll mods? Can someone hijack a legitimate mod with a troll mod? Does the SR community perpetuate these as a joke? I'm not talking about the obvious "please delete" mods, these seem legit.

hey im no troll :D i reckon whats happened is that youve tried to run the pack as a story adventure, which it isnt meant for and thats what deleted your character save - 'portraits and props' is meant to be resource only - so when to subscribe to the pack you can use the props ive made in the editor ... there is 'story data' there because ive tried a bit of animation script in some of the test maps - sorry for the confusion - hope this makes sense to you.

Yep that is exactly what happened. Does it actually need to be there? Because people will wipe their characters by mistake which isn't good. And I didn't mean to insinuate you being a troll but it even had a smartarse mesasge scarwled in the character screen which seemed pretty troll-y to me.

ah good id never heard of troll mods so i found this puzzling to begin with - as for the scrawled message i can only think of the graffiti saying 'ed's patch 'n fix' which is a prop for the snes reboot. if its not that im stumped
