Looks like a upload of this old "over 1000 duke maps" -CD. Most maps are bad. Most are deathmatch -only. They are all made <Y2000 (if I`m not wrong). So you can expect no spritework and maps <50 kb.... some of them are good (1 of 100).....Like the old times, where the players dont want a better design as the orginalgame Bang!

Yes, these maps are probably from an old unofficial CD "Duke Assault" which was on sale before 2000 (and you can still find old pieces on Ebay). The quality of the maps is terrible and trash (there are even unfinished maps and maps with serious errors), but there were 10-20 maps with good quality. It remembers me old times, when the internet wasn't the main sourse of maps, so everyone made a shovelware CD with paid trash :)

Indeed 88scent is the ideal place to download maps. It even has reviews and rank of each map uploaded. It was a paradise for me while looking for good coop maps to play with my friend. There are also the top 20 maps ever made for the game, like the singleplayer "it lives" and the SP and COOP "Roch" series.

But still, most maps are old. I'm wondering if anyone knows what are the best SP and COOP maps after 2012?

Then you'll perhaps have missed few EDuke32-only stuff in ;)
