Is there any such mod where the spaceships would die in a more convincing way, than the current sinking down when they are killed?

It's very disturbing to see a ship sinking when they die, because space is not the ocean. Ships should just stop moving, vent atmosphere if they have any, or otherwise explode.

There is no more reason for ships to sink down when they die than if those same ships were to ascend upwards when they die.
