i think tf2 got snipers a bit wrong

i'm not an expert but aren't snipers meant to be as stealthy as possible? for example, i think irl snipers can lay down to hide and shoot, also if you kill someone you appear in the killcam, revealing your location and forcing you to move. do you agree?

i know it isnt supposed to be lifelike and super realistic, but the sniper playstyle is just a bit different for me

And you don’t see a problem with soldiers exploding themselves to get height or demolitions experts swinging swords?
There was no attempt to be accurate to the military, thats just not the point or priority of the game
