To push any custom settings or map to Steam workshop, download and use the:

Hi Darkstar, yes you can make maps without the game. But its highly recommended that you do, so that you can test it out. As far as the workshop it might only be visible to owners of the game I am not sure.

Really? I though you'd have to load required assets from the game before map making was possible.

you do need the map drawings and such, but if you can't get them from another owner of the game I can post them somewhere for you and others.

Really, though your map will have bugs if you aren't testing it. Modding is development - it requires testing :bunnywink:

I know, but I don't have the game yet. By the time I do, I want to be competent enough with Tiled to make serious maps for testing and such.

And as for the worshop thing, Its in all caps on the page, and selecting it goes to the workshop homepage.

It is there (I see it), it's probably only visible to players that have OBEY in their library.

Why is that? I can browse other workshops of games i don't have, like XCom 2, or Medieval Engineers.

I believe it is a setting in the steam tools.
I think that I do want to keep it this way, however.
The reason: untested maps should not be uploaded to workshop. All purchases come with a steam key (even if you buy OBEY on humbe store/indiegala/or from obeygame.com) hence I think it should stay this way.

But perhaps you think there is a better reason not to do so?

i see your point. The upload tool needs the base game anyway, though, so having the workshop hidden seems superfluous. But i wouldn't dare say how you should run your game, sir, and i apolagize if it seems like i was being pestery.

Does it? when i tried to open it to figure out how it worked, it said a file was missing, steam_api.dll or something. I assume this is part of the game's files and the upload tool goes into the base directory of the game.
