Not 100% what you want, but it's the mod I'm using for pretty much the same effect.
All units on concealed overwatch, something walks into firing range, all concealment is ignored and they start blasting away.
Just make sure any units you want to keep in concealment (Reapers & Rangers with Phantom perk) are NOT set to overwatch at the end of the turn. That way, they will stay hidden while the others are revealed.
I bet robojumper or Iridar would know if this standalone mod is doable, I wish there was a way to ping them to this thread.
If I was called to make such a mod, then I'd have to decline out of principle, because if I start doing mod requests, that's all I'd be doing.
I suggest picking up modmaking tools and learning to do it yourself, that's how I started doing mods.
- It seems like a good UX mod that's trivial for experienced modders to make.
- The request is well explained, so understanding the request should not be a barrier.
Yet no one will create it? What a shame.- It's proven to be trivial and doable here by an experienced modder's appraisal.
