when you making mew map, you must makeit interesting too - place mobs, items, triggers, make landskape and textures...
Guts is a difficult Editor to work with and basic things require time consuming learning curves.
The original Studio is no longer with us so we don't have any updates for the Editor.
As it stands I'm currently advising someone with an Adventure Mod and that certainly takes much planning behind the scenes.
There are a couple other Act 5 mods in the works however it takes years to see interesting results.
However if playing Single Player then there are some decent mods to consider:
. Dungeon Challenge ReMod.
. Path of Torchlight Part 2.
. Synergies.
. TL2E Conversion.
. Adventure Pack II (unfortunately buggy).
. Corpselight.
. Abysm.
. Endless Dungeon.
. Unearthed Arcana (very fragile with other mods).

That may seem like a few however they all took much work to generate.
In that sense it's not for lack of trying. It just requires more dedicated, available, faithful Players to run the gauntlet of learning Guts and enjoying long hours of producing a nice high quality Adventure Mod.
