Im an amature when it comes to modding, but this game really makes moding simple. Ive made 2 mods for my own personal use(i dont plan to upload them because i didnt get creative with them and theyre basically cheats) but for some reason even though my mods pass validation, show up in the mod manager, work ENTIRELY in the game, when i use my mods the game doesnt keep my saves, it lets me save and pretends i save but then the saves dont exist when i try to load. i only used a "mod" folder with mod.xml and skilldb.xml for my second mod, and theres only one skill, doesnt use the expansions and uses icons of vanilla skills. im not sure what could even be preventing the game saving with just that.
i also have the proper zip for it, didnt know which one the game uses locally so i used both methods. do i need to upload it to the workshop to get it to save right?
