will Fuse projects work in facerig
When i downloaded Blender from a forum suggestion i also downloaded Fuse as a similar program. I have only mess with both literaly a few minutes. I have created nothing in blender at all but in the same time in Fuse i have created an entire person right down to the clothing and skin color ready for rigging. I am very new to this and am seeking any advise i can get. Is there a way to get Fuse projects to work with facerig and are there any other programs compatable as well.

Hi, if you get collada files in Fuse projects, then it should work. Other programs that work are Blender, Maya even 3DMax.

Also the face rigging must be bone based, not blendshape based. I think Fuse for now only supports blendshape based expressions, so an extra step might be needed (in blender or a similar program) to get the avatars faces ready for FaceRig.

Cool... Thanks you for your input. I am very new at this but it sparked my intrest and it would be a delightfull addition to my music. I am going to learn blender and check out those others as well.
I had the same question and I read the few responses but is there someone that could break this down a bit for me .. I am still facerig/fuse "stupid" lol I guess what I thought this meant was you can create your character in fuse send to blender to do bonebased for face rigging and then somehow send it to facerig? Do I need anything besides the Facerig classic version (like the new 2d release?) and is there a tutorial hidden somewhere onhow to do these things (I have googled and couldnt find anything specific.

The documentation about how a 3d model needs to be set-up to be loaded in facerig is delivered with facerig.
There's also a forum section dedicated to that :)

What combination of software you use to get the collada data ready for import is of little relevance (any combination of Max/Maya/Blender/Cinema4D/Fuse use whatever you like, if in the end the result is a collada model that complied with the existing technical documentation, the model will work). The tool itself that you use to get the collada files are many... that is important is that the final files ( collada .dae's , textures, mnaming conventions) are obeying the technical specs.

Sweet I will check those out and I appreciate your response.
