♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
Hellow, i have to ask... Where can I download some free weapon skins or other things? I looking for stuff made by players for players for free, becaouse your skins are really, really expensive. You know, game cost 20 Euro, but one sword or barbaric skin 4-5 Euro? This is not right. Why people can't make theirs skins on steam workshop like on many other games?

You may not think its right, but it was Torn Banner's decision to charge for DLC, but since they are not a huge game studio, they need income to keep going as a company. Game development is expensive and the money a company earns is what they make from their games. The older the game is, Chiv is pushing 3 years, the less money is makes in time. The total sales of Chivalry may seem impressive, but in now way did they sell that many games at full price and whenever they sell a copy, full price or on sale, they need to give Steam a cut of the money as well as Epic, who licenses out Unreal 3. So little by little the amount of money they have for rent, salaries, taxes, equipment, etc, etc is less and less each month. So they sell DLC for money, which gives them extra income to run the studio. This money is used to make their next game, which if they dont have enough time or money to release, it means the end of Torn Banner and no more Chivalry.

Other games like Skyrim have a free workshop, but Skyrim was made by Bethesda, who is swimming in cash. A small studio like TB,who I believe employ 20-30 employees dont have massive profits like Bethesda does, so they charge to remain in business. If the money dries up then everyone is out of work. I have worked in games for 12 years and just about every time I have lost my job,was because the company ran out of money. That is what TB has to try to avoid and its why they have to charge.
