Need some modding advice
I'm working on a powerful exosuit and i want to add a sound for when the user takes it off, anyone knows how to add such a thing? I've messed around a bit but couldn't get it to work.

Are there any vanilla items in the game that have a 'removed from body / hands' event sound? I can't think of one right now, and if such a thing doesn't actually exist in the game then it could be hard to achieve. The only thing close would be when you drop something and it clangs as it hits the floor, maybe you could do something like that if it's a per-item thing?

i can confirm, you can modify the sound when you drop it on a surface, not when you unequip it

You can probably make it work by adding OnNotContained status effect then adding a sound file to it.
Although I suspect it'll make noise whenever a round starts and stuff but it's something at least.
Just remember to make the sound Mono instead of Stereo so it doesn't play through walls with full volume.
