How do I disable the infection visual effects?
Hi I want to make the game slightly more interesting and make it so players don’t know if they become infected or not, is there a way to do this without deleting files?

in game settings, advanced, you can disable game shaders, but that will also disable bleeding effect and hp desaturation

not sure, i've reverted that option when understood that I can't see mentioned effects

You can make an addon and replace the infection texture with a blank PNG.
