I posted something similar as a reply to one who had a similar issue, so this will be a copy and paste. Regardless, I believe it can help.

Try going to Options, Graphics, and change the Resolution to something more suitable (you can experiment with it).

If that isn't satisfactory then try using this mod which makes your seeing distance further. However, please note any usage of mods will disable achievements until you exit out of said mod. If you want achievements then understand this is an unfortunate, general limitation of the game, but it can be worked around by aiming upwards (gives you more than the usual distance) or, if need be, blind shooting.

i beat the game a few hours after posting this fortunately. it was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ride. I will try out this mod though so this game is more fun whenever I go back to visit, appreciate you brother
