Creating custom sounds for mod, game crashes
I'm working on a mod that adds custom weapons. It features several gatling gun variants, and I've been creating custom sounds for each. During testing I discovered that trying to fire the vanilla gatling would play an extremely loud static sound. I didn't think about it for a while and continued developing the mod, and now the issue has gotten worse. The game just crashes when trying to fire the vanilla gatling. All of my own gatlings work fine.

I did some investigating and it seems that when I load my testing world, the opposite happens if the first gatling I fire is the vanilla one. It works fine, and then trying to then fire my own gatlings results in a couple of them crashing the game like the vanilla gatling did previously, one of them doesn't. I have no idea what's causing any of this and it's making me tear my hair out. Has anybody run into this issue?

Update: It seems like the game is really picky about the sample rates of these specific sounds. Ensuring all of my custom sounds were exported with a sample rate of 44100 Hz seems to have tentatively fixed the issue, I'll need to do some further testing.

What I find odd is that the game's vanilla gatling shot sounds are 48000 Hz, but its gatling rotation sounds are 44100 Hz. Before I started implementing my own gatling rotation sounds, I was using the vanilla ones for mine. Even if my shot sounds were 48000 Hz before, you'd think the game would be fine with it. Apparently not.
