Please make a mod which can generate electricity to recharge the batteries, only using the player. It can be a pedal-powered generator seat, or a crank-shaft for which you need to keep the F key pressed to use it (like the medical panels), or a crank-shaft for which you need to press the F key repeatedly to use it (like a button), so we can produce enough power to kickstart a base even without batteries, or even without other power generation methods.

For example, it would allow for a hardcore playthrough in which you would need to keep pedaling in order to refine ores or manufacture components. Or if you're stranded inside an asteroid or debris field, you can use the hand-crank just enough to keep your suit charged and slowly charge the batteries to afford a quick emergency signal with an antenna. Or maybe you are on an ice asteroid with a drilling ship without power and without a hand drill and need to kick-start the drill to get the ice needed to get the ship going. The possibilities are endless. Especially for hardcore challenges.
