Pilot Mode?

Original Rise of the Black Dogs had Pilot Mode. The game handled base management, and issued you orders, so you acted as a soldier/pilot, and not the commander. do any mods restoring this mode exist? I recently learned this was excluded from pc and I really wish it wasn't.

Not for the campaign. A gradual AI management mod is in progress and some IA missions simulate this with allies and what not but a pure pilot mode is not present.

Someone is actually coding the AI module right now, but it's not ready for release yet. Keep an eye on the workshop though :D
