The most annoying part of playing this game is imperium/ unit limit. Not only this is not realistic as many of the main "factions" states/empires used drachma/ denarius, and gold/silver to raise and keep armies is but is handicap that add nothing to real strategy, is artificial handicap at best.

And im history buff, and I play plenty of strategy games far more demanding and more rules that require real strategy as field of glory empires and field of glory 2, I never read anywhere in history books that empires that had the mean population wise, money wise, where capped by "Imperium" hard cap. This is bad artifical handicap mechanic that does nothing for the real strategy.
