Can you get achievements in custom games?

I'm feeling like replaying Shadowrun Returns as the Hong Kong Mod — will I be able to grind some achievements there, like kills with specific weapons? So far, they do not register, but I decided to ask anyway.

Signs point to no. To get UGC specific achievements would probably require Valve to have someone assign them after being requested for a post-EOL game.

Not completely impossible, but there are better ways to spend your effort. I'm wrong about many things though.
