Would it be possible, to have a pure summoner class?

That would be beside the Engineer, instead of static turret things, the summoner maybe would use a scroll weapon or a staff or something to Summon X ammount of mobs every X ammount of Seconds that stay until killed depending how u scaled it :O

That would be really fun thing to have, not sure if doable but would be nice to have an army of ur own :D specially in like endless modes.
