The Aftermath units are all high tech, so if enabled, they'd only really show up in the final missions anyway.
Not to mention, campaign missions in general all have very specifically tweaked tech trees. You can build exactly what you need to finish the mission.
See, unlike TD, RA doesn't work with a general system of "this mission number unlocks this tech". That stuff is configured in the mission itself, not in the units and structures, and many units have specifically tweaked stats in these missions.
As for 'is it possible'... no idea, to be honest. It depends on whether the Remaster accepts the "AftermathUnitsEnabled" tag in its normal campaign missions.
