But that's speculation from my side. I think this is very difficult to understand
I'd be surprised/disappointed if it only factored number of abilities instead of forge cost weights. Maybe the script that governs it has it's own internal weight reference.
I'd have to look again which exact mount they are choosing over the Manticores. I just imagined that crippling wounds/flying/hp bonus would be considered higher value over some minor resists.
Good point about those spider mounts though. Only one of their heroes has a Vamp spider. She has 3 other heroes still riding around on horse mounts, which I'm pretty sure don't have an ability count/weight advantage over a Manticore.
I have since sent over a load of Golden Wyverns, so it will be interesting to see what she does with them.
