When I first tried to install mods in this game from the workshop I kept having the problem that any mods I attempted to install from the workshop wouldn't work, they would say they're enabled in the Remix menu and attempting to configure them would bring up the message "This Mod does not have a Remix Configuration menu" even if said mod does have a config menu.

It was very hard for me to actually figure out what this issue is as not many people have posted about it but I eventually did figure out that it is an issue with Steam's Proton Compatibility. Here's how to fix that issue:

1. Open your game library in steam and Navigate to Rain World, click the gear icon and select Properties.

2. In the properties menu on the general tab there is a box at the bottom with the name "Launch Options. Copy and paste the following text into that box:


3. Launch the game and disable all of your mods, after which restart the game and your mods should now be working.
