Necromancy Buff mods crashing game

Every one ive tried has the same issue of crashing to desktop after hitting the inventory or upon randomly picking up items, is this due to them being outdated or is editing that perk just broken atm?

Probably outdated. You can always check the date of last update in the workshop page for the item. Which can help determine that, but in most cases crashes are caused by outdated mods.
