Substance and Exporting textures
So, if I used Substance Painter 2 as my texturing software how should i export the textures? for UE4?

Chivalry is built on UE3.

ok, but in substance u cant export for UE3 so u think exporting for UE4 will work?

you cant export directly to UE3 from substance painter, painter is a PBR texturing program, and UE3 does not use PBR. With that said you can still use substance painter for texturing, you just need to make a custom export configuration, and substitute map types for ones that make sense in the old style of working (for example, metalness maps are not used in UE3, and AO maps are baked into the diffuse texture) so theres not really a quick solution.

ok thanks for the response, and the AO map is the least of the problems
