So I wonder what the policy is on people modding it more than that ;)
They just act like fast stairs, I'm assuming they were removed because they don't really fill a niche given how just generally better elevators are compared to stairs.
The lots are height restricted (exactly how restricted depends on which you choose), but those are easily edited within the settings.scm. I've tested up to about 200 floors with no obvious issues, although I didn't build anything complicated for obvious reasons. You do a lot of scrolling to reach that height and it's obviously the interface is designed with 100 or so being the maximum. I doubt the game would remain performant at heights like that with a large base.
So even if the Entities.scm is changed, they will not take effect on the game?
I just made an indoor swimming pool in my mods section :)
