I'm a greek factions sucker. I like Athens, Sparta, Rodos... but I don't like ahistorical units. Spartan pikemen never existed, they were all Periokoi, because Spartan manpower was very small at this time. A mod with limited Spartan units will be welcomed, and thorax pikemen is the logical evolution of the base Periokoi which, on the other hand, have very bad stats when it is recorded that they performed very well, on par with regular pikemen.

Also, after discussing the issue we have no evidence of Carthage using pikemen at all, so which unit employed Hannibal at Cannae? Guess some "flexible" unit like legionaries but with spears and phalanx formation. Or a modernized hoplites if you like.
