Not sure though, as all the music has it's files in the game so they can also play OFFLINE, additionally the playlist is on the config website so it connects to Psyonix Servers. Maybe there are ways around it, that's all I know.

Actually ive tried before. RL music files are a unique format, and the only way to to it, is to first convert your music file to a .wav if i remember right. then, rename the file to one of the RL file numbers. then flip through your playlist until you find it, since the files are number sequences, it worked, but i only heard like, 5 secs, then it cuts out

i was hoping a few years since then, there mightve been a better way by now

Btw, it only updates and pings for a new playlist (if any new songs are available) but yes if you were to leave it as i described, then updated the game, itd most likely just patch over it

Honestly, i wished theyd just hook into the RL playlists directly on spotify, then it'd open up quit a bit
