If they weren't so complex, I'd likely make one. I've got a nifty idea kicking around and lots of RPGmaker experience, so I'm pretty decent at making stuff...I'm just overwhelmed by the tools. XD
I love to write, in fact, I have my own web novel... I even have studies that allow me to draw something better (I'm a mess, the last of the class), but I barely have programming and software development skills to be able to shape my probable stories in the form of campaigns or events.
I agree with the user with experience with Rpg Maker. If the tool resembled that program (I mean the old RpgMakers, like 2000-2003; the new ones look like tools for software developers, same problem as Wildermyth's...), the content and the community would flourish.
On the other hand, Wildermyth needs its own official independent platform outside the game (web, separate app, in-game option, etc.) for distribution of community mods - it would be a different story if Wildermyth was only for sale on Steam - as it's not only for sale on Steam, and the company won't let you download from the SteamWorkshop unless you bought it from their shop. For example, I can't upload my mods to SteamWorkshop because I didn't buy them here -or at least, I don't know how to do it-.
