Work horn improvements
I have 2 ideas about this thing as right now it feels kinda awkward to use
1 can the horn be moved to the 3rd person bar, maybe near the speed controls ? not sure if thats possible but it would be nice to have access to it without constantly going into 1st person view
2 is there any way to control the length of time ? it would be nice if it lasted longer then 12 or so This in itself is part of what makes number 1 so annoying it wouldn't be so bad if it lasted longer increasing cooldown is fine for it to match the newer time length While both together would be great either 1 would fix a lot of the irritation I have found myself with using the horn



As a side note if speeding it up you think unbalances it too much then if it was possible a cost to use the edited horn something like hay or food (meat or veg or something) thus making it so you would gain the buff longer but at a cost

Sorry to hear that but unfortunately things you listed can't be "improved" the way you want then to be.

On side note - modders don't have full access to game's code.

I had worried about that being the case when I had read through previous comments but was worth a shot. curious do the modders have access to the FBX to MIM converter ? I noticed the link was dead but I am not sure how long its been dead for and I am assuming that if you guys don't have access (or a copy) it would hamper the ability to make new structures from scratch as you would be stuck using only existing stuff.

Converter is still working but making models for this game uses too much time and converter is DOS program so not many people know how to use it properly. You need to know all of commands to know how to use it.
Features which are working only in FPV can be access only from FPV and only from specific villager. Don't know if you saw it yet but currently no one is working on mods for this game besides me and I've limited time for FV.
To be exact - limited time and a very long list of mods to make...
If you have the time (time and you don't mind making for days or weeks not for financial benefits 3d models) low poly models which can be saved as fbx in Blender / 3dsmax and then converted to game extension files and you don't mind using your work in game that won't benefit you in any way.

Most people which I talked about creating models resigned due to money issue, copyrights issue and time issue....

I do mostly dabble often I make mods for myself sort of a hobby of mine if I find the mod to be good enough I share them (only once or twice though so far as often I dont find my mod up to standards) I dont do modding for money honestly its just because I get ideas and my brain just starts demanding I make it or at least attempt to. this has lead me to haveing a long list as well of unfinished works in well various games, (wich reminds me I still have a project I started during the summer lol)
I might attempt to work on some Models at the vary least I might learn something that increases my ability to create mods
BTW I do want to thank you for all your work I can see you have put a lot of effort into the game and I am so far enjoying the creations yourself and some of the other modders have added to this game
As modders don't have access to full code some things even if you make them - they don't work and for that reason - many things can't be modded due to hardcoded stuff and as for now - there are no plans to give modders more access. Making models is one thing, making mod with working model and working mod is something entirely different and modding FV is not the same as modding many different games at Steam or other gaming platforms.
It requires also programming skills. FV doesn't have mod tool.

Funny thing - most of models which can be bought or are free on the internet don't work (even when they are made in FBX) and they don't work because game has strict list on how model should be made.

That's true - I've put a lot of time and effort - few thousands of hours into making and testing thoroughly my mods. :winter2019happyyul:
