Are you supsed to be able to load the shared techs?

I try and add one but they are not available in game, not sure if this is the purpose of this sharing things or is it just to look at another persons designs.

Subscribe to the tech and go into your game. Load a Creative or R&D save. Using the Load Tech button in the bottom left corner of your screen, you will be able to access a menu with your techs in it. Click the tab on the menu which should be labelled Workshop. The menu will display your subscribed techs. They can then be clicked and loaded into your Creative or R&D world.

If you wish to load the same tech into the Campaign, you will have to load it first into Creative, snapshot it using the Camera icon on the bottom left of the screen, then it will be saved to your computer and used wherever you want.
