hi this is just a thread to hopefully help all players keep track of mods that suddenly seem to go missing on the workshop. please feel free to update with mods that go missing for you, and any other help to help us all, because when a mod is taken down, all the comments seem to go with it.

(its possible that some mods are taken down for incompatibility reasons, or because they are being in the process of being re-uploaded, so it might be best to wait a little bit first, in case it comes back)


Recently this mod seems to have vanished in my game, and luckily i noticed:
mod 1334487995 "the harvest" by Dazz Aephiex

1. Butchering a Mechanoid Scyther corpse will also yield two Scyther Blades, just like how could you get elephant tusks.
2. Butchering a corpse with any implants or added parts will also yield that parts, like bionic eyes.
3. (Optional, default off) Butchering a corpse with any harvestable natural organs will also yield that organs, like heart and liver.

i had a backup, and i did these steps to get it working again in my game, in case it helps:
(when i play, i have all mods in the "mods" folder but thats just to help me make full backups of the rimworld folder inc mods)

1) rename the backup mod's folder from "1334487995" to something else, "1334487995-the_harvest"
2) copy the savegame from ludeon folder (as a backup)
3) edit the original savegame in ludeon folder with an xml editor (or notepad++)
4) change the original of my save, and then edit the first part of the save file, changing the 1334487995 into "1334487995-the_harvest"
5a) updating my mod config to edit 1334487995 into "1334487995-the_harvest"
5b) or, adding "1334487995-the_harvest" into the modlist, ideally where the old one used to be (via config, or in-game mods button)

i dont know why the mod vanished, and no errors found so far, but just to post here.
(if you have backups then hopefully the above will help you to be able to add it again, but in case not please let me know and i try to upload it to discord or something)
