it is big ship, so you have a lot of mass to move. you need really big engines to move it. my right now moves for 30 m/s and it will be slower when i finish it. unless i will upgrade engines.
cant help with render, my is pretty. at least i think like that ;)
Let me explain, export doesn´t care about ship fitting inside mod tool screen or not, it just a backbuffer rendering while all processing happens off screen. There is rare framework bug where at export lower 25% image wont get exported and it is at the moment, sadly, out of my control, it can happen to any layer at random, I mean you seen that other layers exported correctly. To fix it restart mod tool.
Furthermore I recommend not to make ship larger than 1024 * 1024 as they are not officialy supported, I will make some sort of warning in mod tool later.
